Our company history

In 1948, despite the post-war economic difficulty, the father of the present owner, Joseph Boehm, founded Boehm Company in Stuttgart.

In its early years this individual enterprise produced mainly custom-made signs; neon signs, information and advertising display cases for world-famous companies such as Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Kodak, Stuttgarter Zeitung to name a few. In addition we produced a smaller quantity of advertising and neon signs for public transport e.g. in waiting areas for bus and train.

After 1975, the company focused on developing and producing display cases for both exhibitions and museum facilities. The product range has been extended gradually to include our own profiles, systems and a multitude of custom made designs.

The Boehm Company is characterized by strengths in glass and metal building combined with wood and plastic expertise. We use these strengths to produce specifically designed glass display cases applying the highest standard of quality to met the wishes of every customer.

Our products are used by satisfied customers nationwide in Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy and Arab countries such as Syria, Jordan and Oman.

Since 2004 we have worked closely with Research Institute Braunschweig (FHG) in the field of pollution prevention for renovated display cases and museums. This has been done in agreement with restorers.

The most research findings are always considered during the development of our products. This allows our clients to benefit from both quality work and the latest state of the art display cases. In the future Boehm company looks forward to presenting their products while engaging more intensively with innovative product systems and customer-specific solutions in both the European and Arab markets.
